Karl Malden 1912 – 2009

I was probably 4 or 5 the first time I saw Pollyanna.

Karl Malden's performance scared the shit out of me.

But of course by the end of the movie he was a pretty likable guy.

It was my first time realization about the actual skill that some actors possess.

Of course I didn't grasp it like that when I was 5.

Then I probably though "He can pretend to be scary and good too...?"
